11 November 2021Donella Crawford Cup

Donella Crawford Cup

This pan Scotland girl's shinty competition was held at Ardnamurchan High School on Wednesday 10th November.

12 teams took part from across Scottish Secondary Schools.

AHS fielded 2 teams with the AHS A Team only conceding1 goal in the final to Culloden Academy throughout the entire tournament .

Our coach commented that both teams remained focused in all their games and dug deep to go that little bit extra when it really mattered. Our B team had a lot of girls playing in their first tournament they put in a very gutsy performance in all their games. Much thanks for the support, the girls will never forget that moment of being in a semi-final and final, being cheered on by the school.

Well done to all our young people who took part.

What an amazing result!

The tournament was featured on An La on BBC Alba last night.
