SQA Result - Press release in full

Well done to all our pupils who achieved this year in the May exams

Special congratulations to Charlie Anne Pleming, Head Girl for S6 this year,  who achieved 5As at Higher this year (already having achieved an A in Higher Music in S4, giving her a total of 6 Highers at A) and to Mary Ellen Macintyre who achieved  3 As, 2Bs at Higher

Well done also to a number of pupils who achieved 4 Highers and one N5, e.g. Rona Nicolson in S5  who had also achieved Higher Music in S4 and therefore has now 5  Highers, including an A band 1 in Gaidhlig.

In S4, congratulations to Cameron Morris who achieved 6 awards at  N5 with  4As, 2Bs

And to Kate Bradley who achieved  4As (3As at N5 and 1A in Higher Music) + 2Bs at N5

In S4, all pupils will have achieved 6 qualifications at N4 or N5 with a number of young people improving significantly on their prelim results and expectations. Early statistical information from Highland Council would indicate that 58% of S4 pupils achieved 5 awards at bands A-C which is the Highest in Highland for this indicator (excluding college courses.)
