At our recent Gaelic Assembly, we celebrated the success of our pupils at the National Mod and heard a winning poem from the adult section. written and read by our own gaelic teacher, Mr MacInnes .

Lochaline

• Layla Orr MacIntyre – a number of particpants

• Archie Kennedy – singing duet competition and won a top award for Boys singing, The James C MacPhee trophy

• Iona Willis – girls singing – very unlucky not to be in top 3

• Rachel Bolton – Won 16-18 poetry 2nd in girls traditional sol, 4th in 16-18 girls completion, performed in duet

Kilchoan

• Megan Curtis did well in poetry reading

• Chloe Curtis – 3rd place for poetry and took part in singing

Acharacle

• Frances took part in Clarsarch competition – 4th place.
